23 year old Mairaj health is progressively becoming worse with every single day passing. This young boys needs your support and help. My name is Precilla Dsouza, I am an Advocate from Bombay High court, residing at Mira road. I personally vouch for him as his case is genuinely in need of your support.
Currently Mairaj is battling life at Madina hospital. I met mairaj’s father few years back as he used to work for us. Mairaj is a 23 year old young boy who reside in Nalasopara and was diagnosed with Rheumatic Heart Disease back on 2009 at the very young age of 11. During the time doctors informed he can be fine with medications for a while. Like any Parents they were worried being a small time worker, how will they manage Mairaj’s treatment if anything happens once again.
After knocking few doors one of the NGO's in Mumbai started providing help with medications for their Young child. They started working long hours to save for any unforeseen circumstance in their son’s life, sadly Mairaj mother succumbed to cancer and passed away last year after taking treatment for 3years. All the money what they saved got exhausted for the mother’s cancer treatment.
There is no easy way to say this, but things didn’t stop here. Post his mother's death Mairaj started complaining of breathing issues and his health condition started deteriorating steadily. After the medical checkup, his Heart Surgeon suggested to undergo Mitral valve replacement surgery on a very urgent basis. Being an advocate, we tried to get young Mairaj admitted under a government scheme. Sadly he cannot get the treatment as he has an Orange ration card from another state.
Hence the only way he can be operated urgently is by each one of you who read his story can help him out in any way they can.
The family is financially weak and is unable to bear the cost of Surgery which amounts to 4 lacs.
