  • What about costing and payout?

    It's free to create and share your campaign on social networking sites. A campaigner shall ensure that every cash and bank transfer received to the patient, family or hospital during the campaign should be informed to us with the name and amount. Failing to do this will lead to the freezing of the amount. We keep 100% transparency with the funds received .   • Do my donors get charged?

    Donation given by Donors is only the amount they are charged on.
  • Can I request for a refund of contribution made towards a fundraiser?

    Yes, a refund request can by mailed within 3 days of contribution. Please note that if our payment processor has already deducted the transaction fees, it will be deducted from the refund you receive. If Ertin has given the money to the campaigner, Ertin shall be discharged of any/all liabilities and no refunds shall be processed thereafter. In such a situation donor needs to contact the campaigner for refund of his money.
  • What is monthly giving?

    It is donating fixed amount of money monthly.
  • How can someone sign up to be a monthly donor?

    You can click on the 'Donate monthly' button.
  • Can I do quarterly, half-yearly or yearly donations?

    Yes, you can do a monthly, quarterly, half-yearly or yearly donations. This will be applicable only for NGO Donations.
  • Upto how long can I be a monthly donor?

    You can be a monthly donor either for 12 months, 24 months, 36 months, 48 months or 60 months.
  • Can't I enter the amount manually?

    Unfortunately, No. NGO has fixed an amount on funds required for a particular project. The fixed amount will be reflected on the campaign.
  • Can I change the amount later?

    No. You cannot change the amount before the duration you have chosen ends. You will have to cancel your current plan and create a new one.
  • What modes of payment can I use?

    For Indian donors: Credit Card, Debit cards and wallets,bank transfers and cash. For International donors: Credit Card, Debit cards and wallets.
  • What cards can I use?

    Visa, MasterCard and American Express.
  • Will I get a notification/receipt when the amount is debited?

    Indeed your bank will notify you about the transaction.

    If the NGO has a 80G approval, you will surely get it
  • Can I do it as part of my Company’s Payroll giving?

  • How can I get a refund?

  • What is the guarantee my money is going to the right place?

    Ertin verifies all project’s before approving them. Best part is every transaction will be issued with an invoice from Ertin or the NGO.

    Don’t worry, at any given time your details will always be secured with Ertin.

Payouts

  • How do I receive the funds that the fundraiser has raised?

    Ertin needs all necessary documents to be uploaded via your sign in. Ertin won’t process any payout until the necessary information and documents are uploaded. A campaigner shall ensure that every cash and bank transfer received to the patient, family or hospital during the campaign is live will be informed to us with the name and amount failing to this will lead to freezing of amount. We try to ensure that all the campaigns are 100% transparent with the funds received. Ertin will verify all your documents.   • Do I need to submit any information to receive the funds?

    A SWIFT code is an international bank code that identifies particular banks worldwide. It’s also known as a Bank Identifier Code (BIC). Bank uses SWIFT codes to send/receive money to/from overseas banks. The bank branch or relationship manager will be able to provide you the SWIFT code for your bank account. Alternatively you can also contact your banks FOREX department as ask for the SWIFT code applicable to your bank account.   • I am below 18. I don’t have a PAN Card. How do I receive the raised amount?

    The amount can be received by a family member or friends provided you would require submitting your School/College ID Card with the documents of the receiver. Note: Post verification the amount will be transferred to your bank account.

  • I have submitted all the documents, why does it still show an 'exclamation mark' in my profile?

    Until you fill all the mandatory fields, the exclamation mark will keep bothering you. It's a reminder for you so that you receive the money on time.
  • I have generated funds from Indian donors only, do I still need to give you the SWIFT Code?

    At times, you might receive funds from abroad. To reduce hassle from both ends, we make sure that we collect the payout details right after the first donation, and transfer it to you on time. You might not know an outsider not belonging to your circle can fund your campaign.
  • Can I keep my fundraiser private?

    We believe in transparency hence all campaigns are public including the donations received.
  • Can we get any discount?

    Apologies we are a startup. Ertin needs to make revenue to run the website. We look forward to reducing the charges in a longer run.
